"Good." She walked to the woods, and then to Bunker 9. She found wood and a tall tree. She was bored, so she decided to build a tree house. She instantly got working and tied her hair up. "Hmm... This should be awesome!" She said with a grin. (Aw, I gotta go! :()

Maddie stayed in the forest most of the time, hanging out in her little room, and listening to 3 Days Grace or Taylor Swift. She didn't talk to anyone at camp during that whole time, but she really didn't mind.

Taylor hung by her legs on her tree which was near Maddies hole. She sang a song in ancient greek about flowers in a meadow. She didn't know she was singing in greek. She started crying when she remembered what her mom had done to her. She had screamed at her and thrown vases at her and stuff. After awhile, she had run away, because her mom had slammed a brick over her head and forgot to feed her for a week. She had to eat small things like toast when she was allowed too eat. That's why she was so thin and had so many bruises and scratches.

A few days later, Leo was nowhere to be found. He wasn't in his cabin, in the woods, Bunker 9, or anywhere at camp.
Annabeth was still in the infirmary. She appeared to be getting better, but soon she became much worse.

Maddie realized Leo was missing, and finally came out of her hole. She wandered around the New York streets, screaming his name. People looked at her weird, and at one point she had to run for three miles to escape a policeman. She finally gave up and tried sending Leo an iris-message.
