Ella went to Scarlets old cabin. She remembered that she said she could have her things. She took Scarlets clothes and makeup. She gave herself a makeover and put on Scarlets favorite satin pink dress complete with white hair bows. She looked exactly like her but she had black hair and Scarlet had red hair.

Maddie walked deeper in the forest, making sure she knew where she was going. She sat up against a tree, and took a bite of her hamburger. Since she was alone, she decided to talk to Aphrodite. "Hey," She said. "If you're listening, this time, I'm not going to ask for answers like a brat." Maddie sighed. "I want to say....." Her voice cracked. "I'm sorry I'm not what anyone wanted. But I want you to know that I'm trying."

A minotaur towered over Maddie. She stabbed it, but it didn't die. Instead, it lunged at her hand. Her HAND?!?!
"You want my hamburger, don't you?" Maddie asked.
The minotaur grunted and munched on it. Maddie understood.
"Thanks, I got this shirt from the thrift shop. Nice armor. Make it yourself?"
The minotaur grunted.
"Just messing with ya. Look, Leo says that I should kill you." Maddie said. "So I have to."
The minotaur grunted.
Maddie sighed. "I know, I've been in Tartarus too. It sucks. Partially the reason I'm insane. We both been through suckish times, am I right?"
The minotaur grunted.
"Heh heh, yeah. Listen, you go hide in that hole. I'll bring you a hamburger later, ok?"
The minotaur grunted, and went into the hole.
