An army of giants burst through the woods, charging at the campers.
Annabeth didn't hesitate. She charged the giants, and stabbed on in the leg, starting the fight.

Maddie sighed, and charged. She took down a minotaur, but while her back was turned she got stabbed in the back from a minotaur's horn. Maddie winced, took the horn out of her back, and killed the minotaur with it.

A giant charged Maddie. It flung a hand at her, knocking her to the ground. Maddie moaned, and swatted her sword blindly. Luckily, she hit it's stomach and it died.

Annabeth fought harder than she even had. She had killed 20 giants far. Then she noticed a smaller figure fighting with the giants. It looked like a normal person, but she couldn't see their face since they had a helmet on that matched the giants'.

Maddie was surprised the figure could fight that hard. She tried cutting it's arm, but it didn't disintegrate. Was this not a monster?

The figure fought against Maddie harder. A minotaur crept up behind it, and the figure turned around and stabbed it. The minotaur disintegrated.
