Maddie woke up with a gasp. Something felt wrong. And when things were wrong, count on Hades to be behind it. Maddie dialed on her phone Daniel's number. She immediately began screaming:
"AAAAHH!!!! Meet me in the underworld in five minutes!"
There was a pause.
"I'll be there in three," Daniel said.
Maddie nodded, hung up, grabbed her back pack, and took off. WITH her brick, rope, and bag. And a golden sword.

"AHH!!" She shrieked.
Then she saw it was Ximenia.
"Come with me!!!" Maddie screamed abruptly, grabbing Ximenia's wrist.

Ximenia was silent, fast asleep. After about 4 seconds, she slowly opened her eyes, and shot up off the log."AAH!!!-- Oh! Maddie! What in the blazes are you doing out here?!" She yawned and rubbed her eyes.

"No, Hades is immortal, genius." Maddie rolled her eyes.
"Oh, yeah....hmm.....we storm in there, and BASH his head open, so he lives in pain the rest of his life!!" Daniel grinned.
"He'll kill us."
"We'll die laughing."
"How 'bout we just skip the dying part and the head open thing?"
"Then what is left?"
"We just storm in there and get our friends back."
Daniel sighed.
"If you want to do it the BORING way,"
Maddie laughed and gave Daniel's arm a push.
"whatever," She said, and she kicked open the door to the underworld.

"Yep, Percy is trying to kill us." Maddie said.
She stared down at Hades. He looked busy watching Percy trying to kill Annabeth. But he turned.
"Maddie...." He said.
"Oh, hey buddy!! I would give you a hug, but....I hate your very soul!!" Maddie did a little laugh.
"Yep, she's my friend. Right here. Best girl in America." Daniel grinned and pointed at Maddie.
"Thank you! Also, I'm the craziest." Maddie grinned.
