'Maddie, I messed up again. Help?'

Daniel tripped and fell on a tree stump.
"Smooth, real smooth." Maddie said, rolling her eyes.
Daniel's legs were bleeding, but he was grinning.
"Whatever," He said, brushing himself off.
"Ew, don't get blood on me," Maddie said.
"Weird meets weirder. This is a great scenario." Daniel said, rubbing his hands together.
"Ok, yes. You out weirded me. Now, where's the trident?"
"Near the bay. I didn't want to scare her more than she already was."
"Ok, we have to get it soon, though. Before she finds it..."
