Maddie shrugged. "Come with us, and we can show you. There's not much left for you here, anyway, and it's pretty obvious your relationship with Chloe isn't going to last."
"Well, thanks, sweetie," Thomas muttered. "Whatever. I'll come with you."

Thomas smiled bitterly. "Heh, you're the only one who notices." He brushed his hair so it was partially covering his eyes, giving him a mysterious look, possibly on purpose. "Nah, I'm okay."
