"Sounds painful," Thomas said quietly. "I was diagnosed with congenital insensitivity when I was four, which is the exact opposite of painful."
Maddie continued to stab the drakon, looking furious.

"That's unfortunate," Zoe said.
The drakon continued to snap at Maddie, looking irritated. After a while, it used it's powerful tail to slap Maddie away. It crept towards Annabeth, looking oddly hungry. It suddenly grabbed the collar of Annabeth's shirt and threw her up in the air, immediately scaring her. The drakon opened its jaws wide and swallowed her whole.
Leo frowned, looking disgusted.

"Yeah," Thomas said. "I remember one time this kid who didn't like me broke my neck because he knew I couldn't feel it, and I almost died...at least I freaked everybody at the hospital out."

Zoe scowled. "Well... at least you didn't die."
"What the ****," Leo muttered.
The drakon growled at Leo all of a sudden, but it suddenly stopped, looking like it was in pain.

Thomas laughed, looking way too cheerful for describing how he almost died. "Yeah, that's true. I love it when I manage to live."
Maddie narrowed her eyes at the drakon, pointing her knife at the drakon.

"I don't," Zoe muttered.
The drakon growled bitterly at Maddie, and suddenly, it's stomach was cut open from the inside, and Annabeth fell out, covered in the monster's slimy bile.
"That's disgusting," Leo said as the drakon turned to dust.

Maddie sighed, and nodded. She took off her hoodie, wearing a tank top underneath with a chunk still ripped off from trying to save Percy's life. She looked slightly uncomfortable not wearing a jacket, her arms looking fatally bony, but she just wiped off all the slime from Annabeth.

Maddie sighed, wiping the rest of the remaining slime off, and rolled up her baggy hoodie which was now covered in slime.
