Maddie tried to listen to the conversation Harry was having with another boy.
"How could you be so stupid?!" the boy hissed.
"I thought I'd be able to kill them, but you didn't tell me the girl was a daughter of Hades," Harry snapped. "And they still think the Romans are the ones that have been messing with them, so not all is lost."
"Do you know where they are?" the boy asked angrily.
"I know they're heading for Alaska," Harry said. "They should be somewhere around here. We can't use the tidal wave card again-they know how to escape it."

"Nothing you could ever bring on could kill her," Maddie said angrily, clenching her fists. "There was a Nemean Lion."

"She was brave to go against it by herself," Maddie snapped.
"Oh, Death Girl, I found something you might enjoy," Harry said, pulling out a newspaper from New York. "Your last name is Hills, right?"
"I never told you that," Maddie said, crossing her arms.
"I figured it out," Harry shrugged.

Harry tried to jump out of the way, but still some fire got to him. He scowled, trying to pay it out, but was pleased to see Maddie still staring at the article, with anger and sadness.
