"It could have been the Romans," Maddie said. "Traitors speaking of Greek gods to throw you off."
"We have no traitors here," Reyna said. "The only traitors are the Greeks."

"That could take forever!" Maddie groaned.
"Then your friends shouldn't have attacked Camp Jupiter," Reyna said.
Out of nowhere, Maddie tackled Reyna to the ground and punched her.

A few boys rushed over and managed to pull Maddie off of Reyna.

Annabeth's eyes widened when she saw Maddie. She began struggling against the ropes bounding her hands behind her back, and the ones around her ankles. She looked furious, while everyone around her looked exhausted. They had apparently been up all night, trying to keep her under control.

Annabeth suddenly pinned Maddie to the wall, her sword against Maddie's throat.
Several campers gasped, and grabbed Annabeth's arms. They tried to pull her away, but they lost their grips, and Annabeth lunged at Maddie again.
Thyra frowned. She had a tranquilizer gun in her hand, and she looked at Maddie.
