"Thanks," Maddie told Percy, peering down at the minotaur's gigantic body, perfect for wripping up little innocent teenage demigods.
Maddie ran back to her cabin before more minotaurs could come

I remember the eidolon attack...when he messed with my body....., Maddie thought. Then it hit her. The eidolon was messing with her BRAIN. When she hit the ditch, she didn't actually lose her memory! It was all the eidolon. Maddie ran out of her room.
"PERCY! Get this eidolon out of my brain!" Maddie yelled.
She suddenly had the urge to kiss percy, and she shivered. The eidolon was just being mean now!!!

Maddie tried to clear her head, then she thought the only way to get it out of her head was to MAKE IT. Maddie tortured the eidolon by thinking of the girliest things she could think of: Lipstick, dolls, and then she thought of a nice, peaceful, waterfall.....
The eidolon was moving, but it wasn't out.

Percy felt the urge to attack Maddie. He raised his sword, but paused, his eyes wide open. "What am I doing?" He asked himself.

Maddie's eyes widened, running from Percy's sword. Then the eidolon grabbed Maddie's gold sword and tried to kill Percy again.
"Stop!!!" Maddie tried to yelp.
She was getting better at charmspeak. The eidolon was dazed for a few moments, but then he started again.

Maddie tried to talk to the eidolon.
"Get out of my head!!" She yelled.
The eidolon reached towards a picture frame: Maddie's picture of her and her mom when they were friends.
Maddie's eyes burned like fire.
"Let. Go."
The poor eidolon didn't listen, and Maddie beat herself unconscious. She fell on the ground

Maddie had a weird dream in her coma. A dark shadow followed her, one that showed her dark side. Her shadow punched and killed everyone in camp, as Maddie's good side got swallowed by her shadow.
"Go away!" Maddie yelled, her voice echo-y.
"I'm your shadow, I will never leave!" Laughed Maddie's shadow.
Maddie snapped awake.

Maddie saw Percy's fear, but she said nothing about it.
"I can't even control my own thoughts anymore. If it doesn't want me to remember something, he won't let me. It's like he's a part of me these days." Maddie said with a shiver
