Maddie nodded. Then she froze. She couldn't move!!! She tried to speak, but her lips seemed to freeze together. The eidolon wasn't going to let her move. Maddie's eyes struck with fear as if to say, 'PERCY! HELP!!'

Maddie needed air, but she forgot how to breath. She had to persuade herself.
Breath, breath, breath, breath, BREATH!!!, she thought. She took a little gasp of air for a few moments, then the eidolon took over again.

Maddie could hear Percy, but couldn't respond. Either way, she didn't know how to anyway. Maddie tried to focus. She had to gently ask the eidolon to:

Percy opened his eyes, but they weren't green like they usually were. They were gold. He glared an evil glare, and he got up and tackled Maddie to the ground. He pointed his sword at her throat.
