Maddie desperately tried to squirm out of Leo's grip, but it was too fast. Her head slammed against the wood, and she fell unconscious.
Charlie poked his head into the room, looking pretty horrible. His clothes were ripped up, and he was soaked in blood. "Oh my gods, did you kill her?!"

Annabeth, Percy, and Zoe ran down the stairs, towards Leo and Maddie.
"We need to get out of here," Annabeth said quickly.

Celeste ran into the room, and gave Charlie some rope. "Hopefully this'll hold her."
Charlie quickly tied Maddie's arms together and her legs together.

Charlie silently walked away.
Maddie had a strong, bitter smell of blood and frosting. She looked fine, except Celeste had changed her into a short, pale pink dress, which she'd probably start having a fit about when she woke up. Suddenly, her eyes flew open.
