Maddie was in her room, brushing her hair, when she heard cannons firing.
"Leo?!" she shouted, putting on her leather jacket over her tank top and grabbing a knife.

Maddie frowned. "I don't know, but cannons are never good. This is coming from someone who fought in the revolutionary war."
She ran up to the stairs, and there were teenagers that ages varied fifteen to twenty. Celeste was being tied up, and she was crying. Really loudly. It was sort of disgraceful.
Charlie was yelling at Daniel, also looking like he was going to cry.

Percy saw Celeste tied up, and he immediately took out his sword and cut her free.
Annabeth ran to Charlie and Daniel, and shoved Daniel against a tree.

Daniel simply laughed, and pushed Annabeth away.
Celeste kept crying, but she looked at Percy and whispered a thank you.
Maddie ran to Charlie. "What happened?!" she shouted. The rest of their conversation was drowned out by the sounds of Celeste's crying and teenagers wrecking the Argo III.

A few teenagers were pushed off board. Many ran around, panicking.
Eventually, Charlie and Maddie stopped talking. Maddie began attacking a heavily muscled boy who looked about eighteen.
"Stop!" Daniel shouted. The teenagers came to a halt, waiting for directions.

Daniel glared at Percy, and continued, looking at Leo. "We have come to stop this ship, under the orders of Gaea. You may come along peacefully, or by force."
Maddie began sweating when Daniel mentioned Gaea. Please don't mention I'm on her side, she thought.

Charlie frowned, and took out his sword.
Daniel's eye almost immediately began to bruise, and he glared at Leo angrily. He then glanced at Maddie, and she felt like her heart stopped. "Maddie, which side are you fighting on?"
Celeste scowled. "Um. What?"

Maddie swallowed hard. "I made a deal with Gaea to destroy you all before the quest succeeds," she said, her voice loud and firm. "And that's what I plan on doing. Gaea must rule again."
Charlie's jaw dropped. Celeste began sobbing again, muttering, "We're going to die. She'll kill us all. We're going to die."

Immediately, the battle scene resumed. Guns began shooting, and swords were unsheathed.
