Annabeth sighed, and decided to read a book. Maybe that will distract you from misery. She tried focusing on the book, but she just couldn't. Nearly every book she had included romance, which was the last thing she wanted to think about.

"Happy birthday!" Maddie smiled. "I baked you a cupcake...then I ate that. Then I baked you another cupcake...then I ate that. Then I baked you twelve cupcakes, because there's no way I could eat twelve cupcakes, right?" Maddie said, then she looked down. "But I ate all of those, too. After the sugar rush I passed out on the floor, and that gave me a great idea, because the floor is a great place to think. I decided to make you a card!...But then I ate the card." Maddie frowned. "Then I made you another card, and I duct taped my mouth together so I wouldn't eat it." Maddie grinned. "So here is your card!" Maddie handed Annabeth a card. "I'll make you a cupcake in a bit, don't worry."

Nico pulled his sword out of his belt and messed around with it, his vision blurred with tears from thinking of his sister and the sword fell cutting his wrist on the way down "Ahhh!" He screamed feeling the pain

Maddie grinned. "Fantabolous. Haha, is that even a word? Wait, now it is." Maddie pulled out a sparkly purple pen with little streamers coming out of the end of it, and taking out a little card. "I gotta send this to the dictionary. F-a-n-t-a-b..." Maddie frowned. "Hmm...o-l-o-u-s? That sounds about right. Definition: So fantastic and fabulous, Maddie got excited and combined the two." Maddie smiled.
