That night, Annabeth and Luke talked.
"Annabeth, I need to ask you something." Luke said.
Annabeth raised an eyebrow. "Er... yes?"
"Heh, it's okay if you say no. I'd definitely understand if you didn't want to."
"Luke, what do you want to ask me?"
"Would you... uh... join the dark side with me?" Luke asked.

Maddie heard Annabeth and Luke talking. "Annabeth!" Maddie yelled. "You can't join the dark side!! You don't even have spurs on your boots!! Do you even HAVE boots?! I don't care if you stay with Luke! Just...just please don't leave me!!" Maddie yelled, tears running down her face. "We're sisters!! Remember?!
