The shrieks died down after a few minutes, and Maddie came hobbling inside camp, a knife in her leg. She tried to be silent. She walked in the infirmary, and grabbed some bandages. Be quiet, she thought. Don't let anyone know you're here. She wrapped the bandages around her leg.
