Maddie shrugged. "I'll try not to." She said. When they finally got back to camp, Maddie went straight into her cabin and shut the door. She tore open the note her dad gave her. What was so important that no one could hear? She began reading, her eyes wide.

Maddie stared down at the letter. She wanted to burn it, but she decided she would need it later on. It wasn't a note from her father. It was a note from Daniel. Maddie sprang up from her bed, running out her cabin door. But she forgot she closed it, so she smacked into it with a thunk. She immediately got to her feet again, opened the door, then ran out.
