"It is a pretty big deal." Maddie chuckled. "And as you saw, he can make basically anything. Percy can control water....I can persuade almost anyone to do almost anything, and you are just......REALLY smart and wise."

"Camp-half blood. The only place on Earth that is SORT OF safe for people like us who are half god or goddess." Maddie said. "....No matter how much we just want things to be normal. But that's ok, because everything seems normal when you are a half-blood once you adjust. But I guess it isn't a TOTAL loss that you lost your memory. Now I can reuse my old jokes!"

"Well, being a half-blood comes with....difficulties. Difficulties is the sugar-coated way a half-blood says 'We're going to die here.' So monsters are ALWAYS looking for us to kill. Why? I don't know. They're just mean and gross. But I can retrain you to fight against the monsters. And to answer your question, it's sort of safe here because monster attacks are only, like, once a week." Maddie explained, as if it made perfect sense. She did a grin when she was done talking.
