She knew she was a demigod just a year ago. Before that, things were fine. She had a fine life, her dad would take care of her....Maddie sighed. She wished it was still that way.

Maddie waved at Leo as he left. Maddie sighed and sank into her bed. Her eyelids felt heavy, and she must of fell asleep, because she woke up with a sharp hissing sound.

Percy woke up from a nightmare. He looked around his cabin. "It was only a dream." He said, relieved.

Maddie looked around. The mirror was on the floor, shining it's gold frame, and reflecting it gleaming middle.
"Mm....a mirror?" Maddie was half asleep.
She put on her yellow-ducky slippers and walk towards the mirror. She picked it up.

Maddie stared at the mirrors reflection. She brushed her hair back and did a little smile. Even half asleep, she loved her reflection.
"Maddie...look at you."
"I am." Maddie snapped.
She might have been under her fatal flaw, but she was still the sassiest girl from miles around.

"Just keep looking..."

Percy opened the door, and he ran to Maddie right away. He ripped the mirror out of Maddie's hands. "What are you doing?!"

Maddie kept trying to grab the mirror, but Percy had a firm grip.
"Don't listen to him! Keep trying to grab me!" The mirror chanted.
"I AM! Can't you just let me think for myself for ONE SECOND?!? Geez!" Maddie yelled, still trying to get a hold of the mirror.
