A woman came out of the door instead, and they argued for five minutes before letting Chris inside. Almost twenty minutes later, Chris came out, dragging an unconscious man. "Got him."

Maddie scowled. She felt a bit of emptiness without Little Annabeth. She honestly liked her a lot more than regular Annabeth, but still, she started dragging Annabeth back to camp, accidently quietly singing the haunting song Chris used to sing to her.
