"Oh! Yay!" Christiana clapped, then cringed from the loud echo it made. She knelt by Annabeth's cell and picked the lock quickly, and did the same to Leo's door. "Maddie is talking to Charlie about something and Chris is guarding the get away car. And by get away car, I mean a rented mini van. The budget was low."

Christiana pressed a bandage against Annabeth's knee, and another one against her shoulder. "It's okay. We'll be able to get out when we get Maddie."
"-I mean, seriously?!" Charlie shouted. "You're still so immature!"
Maddie glared at Charlie, and slashed him across the face with her nails. "You're lucky I'm not trying to kill you, Charlie."
"Why aren't you, then?!" Charlie yelled.
Maddie's face turned bright red. "...I don't need another person I'm accused of murdering."

Maddie scowled. She backed out of the room, pulling on Leo's good arm, slammed the door shut, and locked it. She leaned against the door, hoping it'd hold back Charlie. She raised her eyebrows at Leo. "This is going to be a rather fascinating story."

Maddie curled up against the left door, staring at an amulet around her neck, probably too deep in thought to really care about anything.
