Celeste grinned, and kissed Annabeth again.
The guard sighed. "Fine." He walked into the jail, and stopped by an iron door with no window. "Last chance to back out."

Celeste kept kissing Annabeth, overwhelmed with happiness that they were back together.
The guard opened the door with a few keys, and shoved Leo into the room, closing the door behind him.
The room was padded with yellow fabric. Even though it was large, Maddie was curled up in a corner, her curly hair spilling over her shoulders and waist. Her neck and wrists were covered with thick bandages, as if they were afraid she was going to try and hurt herself, and her rib cage looked too pronounced to be healthy in the criminal outfit.

Annabeth hugged Celeste tightly, and she nearly jumped when she head the door open.
"What are you two doing?" Her brother, Malcom, scowled as if he were being overprotective of Annabeth.
Leo frowned. "Maddie?"
