Maddie waited a moment for Akhlys response, then decided she wasn't going to say anything. She then felt bitter cold creeping up her arms, then freezing her whole body. She didn't feel it snowing, though. She yelled Akhlys's name, and again she didn't respond.
"First we're going to get the acid," Tara said. "I know where it is."

Maddie's face turned bright red, and was glad it was too dark to see.
Tara mouthed, 'stall.'
"Well?" The man demanded.

Maddie kept walking around frantically, but she felt like she was going in circles. She almost slipped over the edge of a cliff, and got an idea. "...I think the only way to get out is to jump."
Tara took the vial and slipped it into her pocket. "Next up; the water."

Maddie saw fire underneath them, and was filled with even more terror. When they landed in it, it was cool, and she realized it was Tartarus fire. The room was light enough to see in now. "I think we lost Am...Ak...whatever her bloody name is. You okay?"
Tara frowned. "Why does your face keep turning red?"
