Leo worked all day on the prosthetic leg, and once he was done, it seemed to work well for Annabeth. Annabeth was glad to walk, but she still missed Celeste an awful lot.

"You didn't think you'd be safe forever, right?" Harry asked, raising an eyebrow. "Come with me."

"Well you won't," Harry said angrily.
Maddie suddenly lashed out and smacked Harry to the ground. Suddenly, the ground underneath all three of them exploded, and they were all pushed back.
Maddie's vision was fuzzy, and she couldn't hear anything with the ringing in her ears. She tried to form a complete thought.
Explosion, she thought. There was an explosion.

"I...I don't know," Maddie mumbled, trying to stand up. She fell back down, and thought it was just because she was dizzy. She looked around, and realized two things. Harry was gone, and she was sinking into the ground. Not too quickly, but it still scared her. "A-Annabeth, we're sinking."
