"Aw, just lay off her, Rarity," Apple Jack said, who's eyes and hair looked exactly like Maddie's. "Her hair's perfect."

"Yay!" Pinkie Pie cheered, hugging Maddie. Maddie didn't even look like she wanted to resist.
"It's so great to have new friends at Canterlot High!" Apple Jack sang, and everybody immediately joined in like they rehearsed it. "Wait until we show Fluttershy! Come with us, we can have a blast! You're here at laaaaaast!"

Maddie nodded, and ran outside. Celeste and Rarity were sitting next to the giant stone water fountain, talking.
"Hey, Celeste, we have to find a place to sleep," Maddie said.
"That's a problem," Celeste said quietly.
"You need a place to sleep?" a very quiet and shy voice asked suddenly. "Oops, I'm sorry for intruding on your conversation..."
