They finally made it out into the city without getting attacked. It was snowing and bit, and there were many people walking around on the streets. Maddie did her best to avoid humans as she walked on the sidewalk.

A waitress walked up to them. "Would you like a table?"
Maddie nodded, and the waitress took them to a table near a window. Maddie sat down.

Maddie laughed, picking up a menu. "Once I told that to a waiter, and the waiter told me I wasn't allowed back at that restaurant. I just snapped my fingers and said I didn't like the restaurant anyway."
