Maddie was silent for a few more minutes, and then she groaned, standing up. She began walking towards camp, until she suddenly fell to her knees, clutching her stomach and throwing up blood.

Maddie touched the back of her head with her fingers tips, and winced. She brought her hand in front of her face, and sticky, dark red liquid was trailing down her palm. She quickly rubbed it off on her jeans, but her face looked pale.
