Maddie jumped on the drakon, stabbing it in the back of the neck. The drakon made a horrible screeching noise. Maddie's fingernails suddenly grew longer and sharper, and so did her teeth. She bit into the drakon, and clawed at it's flesh. It shook Maddie off, disintegrating. She flew through the air and slammed into a tree, making a cracking sound that was probably her rib cage shattering.
