Thyra glanced at Annabeth, and smirked. She quickly grabbed Annabeth's glasses, and raised them up in the air. Since Annabeth was shorter than her, she struggled to get them back.

Maddie calmly reached her hands up, thankfully able to touch Thyra's shoulders. She acted like she was a ladder, and balanced herself on Thyra's elbow. She took Annabeth's glasses, and handed them back to Annabeth. "Sorry, Thyra. I didn't know that having good ears meant you had bad eyes. I bet you were always jealous of that girl, Good Eyed Alyssa. But don't be! Your ears will always be more impressive than Good Eyed Alyssa."
