Leo sat down next to Maddie. "It's gonna be a quest. I just know it."
"We need to bring two new demigods to the camp," Chiron announced. "Two powerful demigods, by the looks of it. We need a leader for the quest, of course. Would anyone like to volunteer as leader?"
Annabeth's hand shot up right away.
Chiron frowned. "Annabeth, are you sure you're up to this?"
Most of the other campers looked confused, like they were unsure of what Chiron meant.
"Yes," Annabeth said.
