Maddie was walking back to her cabin, when a voice said: "Hey."
Maddie turned around, and jumped when she saw Daniel. "What're you doing here?!"
"I just came to apologize," Daniel said, tossing Maddie some cotton candy. "I won't try and murder you anymore, okay?"
Maddie took a bite of the cotton candy, still looking a bit suspicious, but it was hard to look intimidating while stuffing your face in cotton candy. "Okay, I guess." She mumbled.

Annabeth sighed. She tried to fall asleep, but she was too freaked out. She didn't like the way the boy was looking at her, although he didn't seem to be so creepy. He was smiling a bit, so it couldn't have been that bad, she thought.
