starrypaw: wakes up twilight is gathering. manages to get up and stretches since nothing is wrong except ear cheek and tail. goes out into camp and comes back, eating mouse and comes back and sorts through some herbs. "might as well be useful in here." mutters. (guys i gotta go  bye)

takes off cobwebs and licks wounds, then applies some dock and horsetail. then goes and decides to search for some more horsetail. sorts through remains and then leaves camp after eating a squirrel

pauses to scent air and picks up i whiff of catmint. races forward and finds some. breaks the stems in teeth and goes back to camp becuz it's to hard to scent horsetail. doesn't notices blackpaw, yet.

squeezes into camp again, wincing as thorns scrapes wounds which have no cobwebs anymore. tries to avoid them but leaves some of the leaves splashed with red. finally gets through and washes wounds and takes off the poultice and applies more dock before putting on cobwebs
sorts through catmint and dries out almost half of them. Decides to hunt because hasn't done that in a long time. whisks back out of camp before blackpaw is back

pauses to scent air and smells a thrush. Looks around eagerly but doesn't see it. Tail droops and walks on, not bothering to put paws down lightly.
stiff breeze blows into face. Smells a squirrel. crashes forward. sees it when skids literally right into it. it dashes and Starrypaw tumbles down the slope into the river and goes under right away.

water swirls around look like crystals. is upside down so thinks it's upward and starts swimming down toward the bottom. "i don't remember it being this deep." thinks

flips sideways and cheek scratches on a stone, ripping off cobwebs. shrieks in pain but takes in bloody water. starts swimming sideways

coughs up lots of water and lays on bank soaking wet. shivers as a breeze goes by and loses conscious. after a while breathing deepens and stops moving completely. (dead)

Suddenly and mysteriously wakes up gasping for air. vision is blurry and mind feels fuzzy. through blurry vision looks up. "B-blackpaw? Is that y-you?"

vision clears and sees blackpaw's startled face. coughs up a little more water but scrambles into sitting position.

scratches on cheek is only a scar looks like a old battle scar and so are other scratches is still wet but somehow like things that just happened happened long ago or never. :?
