(Okay, so the Siren-to-be (Cody) will basically be drugged. Ariel will make him drink a potion that contains Poseidon's blood, her own blood, and a different human's blood. Then, she'll take him to the cave. If he lives, he's a Siren. If not... well, he's dead.)

Ariel was in the cave, dragging Cody behind her. He was passed out, so she set him on a large rock and tipped the potion down his throat. Once she made sure all of the potion had been swallowed, she took Cody's body off the rock and place him in the water, swimming out and under about twenty feet before coming back.
