Faolan trotted through an ancient looking forest, happy to be going were she really belonged. After all, there might be other shapeshifters there! She saw a few doormice scuttling through the leaves that covered the brown earth. Then she arrived at the gates to camp half-blood. "This is it," she whispered to herself. "Let's go."

Faolan walked through the gates to the camp. Suddenly, a centaur galloped in front of her and scared her out of her skin. Literally. She shifted into a wolf and started barking at the centaur, trying to express how angry she was at him for scaring her. The centaur trotted off and Faolan spotted two girls, around her age listening at a door. She walked over to them and tried to say hi. As Faolan forgot the had shifted, it came out as a growl. The two girls turned around and screamed.
