"These monsters are faster and more powerful. They have the ability to camouflage themselves as a regular camper, and go into their true form when they're about to attack. If you are attacked and live, the monster's venom will infect you, and you too will become one of these hybrids," Chiron said.
Angry, anxious murmurs broke out.
Maddie rolled her eyes. "This sounds fun, no, really. What are we supposed to do about it?"
"Maddie is a pleasure to have, as always," an Ares camper muttered angrily.

The Ares camper glared at Leo, and didn't say anything.
"At least two campers must go down to Tartarus and find out what is forming these hybrids," Chiron said. "The campers who stay at camp will have to locate the hybrids and kill them off."
"That's swell," Maddie mumbled. "I don't know depends on who else is going to Tartarus."
"I'll go," Charlie said suddenly. "I like Tartarus."
