"Hey. Charlie said he's tired of wrecking scrubs and I don't have anybody to talk to, so I was wondering if you would do it with me," Maddie said, then blushed. "That last part of the sentence came out wrong. I meant talking to me, not, like..." She blushed harder, awkwardly biting her sleeve.
