Eli walked next to Percy and whispered back to the shadow, having it vaporize into the air. He kneeled down and looked up at Percy, waiting to hear a plan, an idea, or anything.

Percy didn't look at Eli once. Instead, he charged the hydra, his sword ready to stab. The fight seemed to go well for several minutes, until a hydra claw stabbed him in the back.

Eli narrowed his eyes, mumbling to himself, "What's he doing?" He got up creating a dark mist around the hydra, his eyes glowing gold. He hoped to keep the hydra head's blind while Percy did whatever he was doing.
