Celeste kissed Annabeth forehead, laying her down on her bed. She laid down in bed next to Annabeth and fell asleep a few minutes later.

Celeste frowned, curious who was calling Annabeth, but didn't want to snoop on her. She shook Annabeth's shoulder. "Annabeth, wake up."
Maddie nodded, and suddenly heard a faint ticking sound. It sounded almost like a bomb but it didn't get any faster or louder, just a constant ticking.

"Abigail Hills, but you can just call me Abby, sweetie." Abby smiled, and even though she didn't sound sarcastic she wasn't exactly sincere. "What's your name?"
