"Eh, settle down..." Maddie said, squirming to get to her feet.
"Maddie-"

The Cyclops ignored her.
"Are you with Annabeth?"
"No."
"If you tell me the truth, I will only take her."
Maddie gulped. She didn't know what to do.

Maddie landed on the ground with a THUMP!!!!!! The ground rattled. Maddie survived, surprisingly. She shakily tried to stand up, but she was too shaken.
The Cyclops stared at Annabeth.
"ANNABETH CHASE!!!!" His voice rumbled. "MADDIE SAID YOU WEREN'T HERE!!" his voice sounded like thunder on a stormy day.
