Charlie scowled at Daniel, and slammed the boy next to Daniel in the face. The boy slumped to the ground, and Charlie pinned Daniel to the wall. "Celeste, get me some duct-tape. Leo, go find Maddie!"

Down the hall, there was a metal door that had a small window. Maddie was laying on the ground, shivering. The chair was taken away, but she was still tied up. The duct-taped remained on her mouth.

Charlie was still desperately holding Daniel to the wall, and his eyes widened when he saw Maddie. "What happened to your leg?!"
"Long story," Maddie muttered.
Celeste was somehow growing vines out of the ground to hold Daniel back, but Daniel ripped through them quickly, looking furious.

Charlie nodded, but Daniel grabbed his shoulder. "No one is leaving!" he yelled, looking insane.
Charlie raised his eyebrows. "Or what?"
Daniel glared at him, and grabbed Maddie by her throat. She desperately gasped for air, and he held her over a crater in the ground. "Or I'll throw her in Tartarus."

Annabeth gasped, and punched Daniel in the face, looking furious. She quickly took Maddie out of Daniels grip.

Daniel punched Annabeth back in the stomach, and shoved her against a wall.
"Stop it!" Maddie frowned.
"Get her off the ledge!" Daniel shouted to one of the boys walking in the hall.
The boy nodded, and tried to push Maddie into the hole.
