"Okay," Maddie said. "I'll get Celeste and Charlie."
Maddie walked out of her cabin, and a few minutes later, she came back with Charlie and Celeste.

Celeste looked like she was going to start crying or have an anxiety attack. Maddie was about to hug her, but Charlie slipped his hand into Celeste's. Maddie raised an eyebrow at Charlie, but he pretended not to notice it.
