Leo got up, and ran into the woods. He came face to face with a Nemean Lion, and he frowned. He sent large flames towards the lion, but it didn't hurt it at all. The lion tackled him, and he fell unconscious.

Maddie looked at Leo, and immediately felt panicked. What if he was in a coma, like Annabeth? Stop it, Maddie thought. The odds of that happening are low. Still, she felt her heart thumping as she brought him to the infirmary.
