Maddie sat in bed, and opened her mom's diary. It was a magic book. If Aphrodite wrote in HER version of the book, it would appear in Maddie's.
"Dear Maddie,
I've been very busy lately. I sent you some coupons to the Smoothie Shake down town. Of course, you might not get there alive.'

Maddie rolled her eyes at her mom's ignorance. She closed the book and went to bed.

Maddie dreamt about her mother. in the dream, her mother kept saying,
"Maddie, maddie, wake up!"
"What?" Maddie mumbled in the dream.
Aphrodite's voice faded.
"Wake up! Wake up!"
Suddenly Maddie awakened. Then she heard:
"WAKE UP YOU IDIOT! I'M TRYING TO BE INCONSPICIOUS!"
Maddie bolted up in bed.
"Mom?!?" She cried.
"Uh, did you here my last sentence?"
"YOUR SO RUDE!"
"SSSHHH!!!! Come here!" Aphrodite said.
Maddie reluctantly followed

"Hades...it's supposed to be...."

WHOOSH! A large door opened.
"Here!" Aphrodite exclaimed.
Maddie's jaw dropped.
"It usually takes DAYS to get to Hades! How did you-"
"I know people. C'mon." Aphrodite went in.

"Does this lead us to Hades?"
"Yes." Replied Aphrodite.
Maddie nodded. In just minutes, they made it to Hades.
"What do you WANT?" Hades said.
"We want my dad back!" Maddie said.
Aphrodite signaled to Maddie to use charmspeak.

"Such as?"

"WHAT REASONS?" Hades commanded.
"Such as, it would be less of a pain to have one less soul living in this place. He's VERY noisy, and he will disturb you in your slumber." Maddie said quickly.
