Maddie nodded. She grasped her knife, and swung it at the drakon. The drakon screeched, and clawed at Maddie's stomach. Instead of being scraped, the drakon's claws went straight through Madide, like she was a ghost. Maddie looked horrified. She stepped back, her eyes wide.
