Tabby choked. She couldn't believe what Annabeth had just said. "I...I...have to go..." she said, trying her best not to burst into tears right then. She raced back to the Aphrodite cabin and collapsed on the bunk. Then the tears came.

Silena hugged her knees. The process was beginning, as Gaea had told her. She had to make friends with the campers or else they wouldn't fall for the trick.
She took a shaky breath and got to her feet. She thought of the Lava Wall the other day. Tabby had said she was a daughter of Aphrodite and Maddie was too. Annabeth and Tabby and Tapanga were Athena Campers.
She made her way out the door and across the pavilion to the Aphrodite cabin.

Tabby looked at the ceiling, trying to stop sobbing. She couldn't get over what Annabeth had said.
"If you don't forgive me...I guess I just lost a friend..."
"That's okay with me."
The conversation kept replaying in her head and she squeezed her eyes shut, as if that would ward off Annabeth's comment.
The dinner bell rang but she wasn't hungry.

Silena stopped, and watched the other campers make their way to the Dining Hall. 'Great...' she thought sarcastically. 'I guess acquainting will have to wait...' She followed the campers.

By nightfall Tabby had stopped her tear ducts from leaking. 'I'm sure she didn't mean it...' she thought optimistically to herself.

Annabeth finally walked back to her cabin around midnight, and she stared at the ceiling for hours, unable to sleep.

Tabby was sleepless that night. She rolled and fluffed her pillows, counted sheep and goats and cats, but nothing worked. She crept out of bed and made her way to the Athena Cabin. Justice was sleeping soundly but Annabeth was awake.
"Hi," she said softly.

I am fixing these sentences: Tabby had said she was a daughter of Aphrodite and Maddie was too. Annabeth and Tabby and Tapanga were Athena Campers.
They should be: Tabby had said she and Tapanga were daughters of Aphrodite and Maddie was too. Annabeth and Justice were Athena Campers.)

"You have to stop being so stubborn or the quest is doomed to fail." Justice muttered.
