Maddie nodded. She was falling asleep, when she heard voices echoing in her head. She frowned. "Be quiet!" She yelled, looking around. There was no one, but she still heard the voices. "Stop it!" She shouted, standing up angrily.

Maddie didn't open her door. The whole night, she heard the same voices in her head, shouting at her and driving her crazy. She laid on the floor, squeezing the sides of her head with her hands.
