Maddie looked over at Luna, and whispered almost silently, "No, I feel depressed." She laid down, and finally fell asleep a few hours later.

Leo finally fell asleep, but he woke up later in the night, and he noticed that Annabeth was awake, too. He looked over at her, and said, "Hey."
"Hey." Annabeth said quietly.
"Is something wrong?" Leo asked.
"Not really." Annabeth said. "I just miss Percy, I guess."
"Oh." Leo said. "You'll see him again."
"I hope so." Annabeth said quietly.
"Don't be like that." Leo said, and he kissed her.

"I...uh..." Maddie tugged her knife out of the wall. "But...there was..." She looked over her shoulder, trembling. "There..." She frowned, and pulled her hood over her eyes. "Uh...excuse me for a minute..." She ran out of the alley silently, and disappeared in the rain and fog.

Luna stared at the moon. No one knew, but it controlled her strength. She was strongest at a full moon. But with a lunar eclipse coming, she was growing weaker.

Leo frowned, and he didn't say anything. He just waited for Maddie to leave, then he turned to Annabeth.
"She'll be back." Annabeth said.
"I hope so." Leo said. He kissed Annabeth again.

Maddie woke up in the morning, still in the graveyard. She frowned, then realized what happened. She decided to pretend nothing happened, and she went back in the alley. She was shaking with anger, though.
"This is your fault," Maddie said, not realizing she was randomly talking to herself. "You're never good enough. Nobody likes you." She stared at her knife in her hands. "Just kill yourself already."

Maddie glanced at Leo and Annabeth, and said, "Don't kill yourself. Kill THEM." She stared at Annabeth and Leo for a moment, then sighed. "No, you can't. Then you'll be all alone on the quest." She sighed and tried shaking Annabeth awake. "Annabeth!!!"

Maddie didn't say anything. She stared at her map, and continued to walk. She didn't bother talking to Annabeth or Leo, and she seemed to be walking a few feet away from them on purpose, and all the other mortals that came near her, like she didn't want to be near any human beings.
