"You have been gathered here today because we have terrifying news," Chiron said. "There will be a quest. One bigger than possibly any quest there has ever been. We have to retrieve an ancient girl. She had been a hero during her age, although one day she mysteriously...disappeared. We have absolutely no idea where she is. A demigod shall be selected to lead us."
A few campers worriedly whispered to each other.
"That's not the terrifying part, though," Chiron took a deep breath. "The one destined to lead us is...Maddie." Chiron pointed at Maddie.
Maddie looked behind her, in shock. "Um...is there, like, another Maddie behind me?"
Chiron shook his head.

"You're biggest enemy is only yourself, Maddie," Chiron said. "You underestimate yourself."
"Yeah, I think I OVERestimate myself..." Maddie shrugged. "I...just...I can't lead a quest that big. Heck, I can barely open a can of peanut butter without breaking a sweat."
"Peanut butter doesn't measure a person, Maddie." Chiron said.
Campers began refusing Maddie leading the quest, and yelling at Chiron to change his mind.

A few campers glared at Maddie.
"Chiron!" Maddie pleaded.
"I have made my decision!" Chiron said loudly.
"Change the decision!" Maddie shouted.
"Silence!" Chiron yelled at the campers. "Maddie, you are the most fearless demigod."
"Yeah. And the most stupid demigod. I do really, really stupid things because of my fearlessness. Please, Chiron. I can't do this!" Maddie said.
