Eliza laughed back. Who did this guy think he was, talking about consequences? In Eliza's opinion, consequences were for those not strong enough to survive. "I wasn't saying that I'm trying to help anyone," she replied almost defensively. "I try to stick to helping myself. I'm just saying that it would be very satisfactory for me to watch this city burn along with at least some of the awful people in it."

Hazel shifted uncomfortably in place as the others continued to talk. He had a little pout on his lips, but was completely silent as his group talked. He put a strand of hair behind his ear and looked down, staring at the ground.

" That's good," He said, his eyes shifting over the Hazel before saying, " I just want to know you are fine with the buildings collapsing onto babies, mothers, fathers, and elderly below. People jumping off the buildings making their already painful demise quicker and people slowly suffocating from all of the pollutants reaching the air. It is just making the inevitable quicker. I don't want anyone to chicken out. It's just another person that could be a witness in this large-scale crime."

Britt shrugged and sighed. "That's I guess why I get two million dollars. It's the cost that comes with it." she looked down. "It may not even be worth it." Britt paused then turned around, stopping the group from moving forward. "If you are not in, leave. I can't afford to have you guys turn around last second. This is your chance to leave."
Alex stopped, taken aback. "Whoa, Britt, I don't think anyone's going to leave now, right?" he glanced around worriedly. "Right?"

Eliza raised a brow at Alex's excessive reaction before she spoke. "A little death and chaos has never bothered me," she said casually. She had spent most of her adolescence causing it. Not on this large of a scale, of course. It occurred to her that a construction worker might not be as numb to that kind of guilt. She looked right at William and asked, "Are you sure it won't bother you?"

Hazel whimpered softly after William spoke, his lip beginning to quiver slightly. "It's fine," he said, forcing his voice to be calm and neutral. He couldn't back out now. This was only one step bigger than what he was already doing... Right?

" I won't be bothered. I've never been bothered by anything in my life," William shrugged. He looked over at Hazel and said, " Don't you look upset... Are you okay with hearing people's cries of help, wanting some kind of relief from their suffering? The big question the media would be asking is why? Why did you do it Hazel? Why did you kill so many? Why did you cause so much suffering and feasting on the weak? Why did you kill so many who did no wrong? Pure innocents were lost at your hands, Hazel..." He looked almost horrified at Hazel. " You truly are the devil, aren't you...?" He asked.

Hazel's face turned hard, his eyes narrowing to slits. He wasn't upset anymore; he was pissed. William was doing this on purpose, he realized. Hazel stepped forward, delivering a hard slap across William's face. "Cabrón," he spat in his native language, before he stepped back to where he had been before, now surprisingly calm.

Alex walked in between Hazel and William. "Whoa, save all that for later guys, we have a lot ahead of us." he said, staying firmly between them.
Britt rolled her eyes when Hazel slapped William, not even remotely moved by his actions. "Okay, lets go then." she muttered continuing the walk. Luckily they were almost there.

Eliza couldn't help but smirk as Hazel slapped William. It wasn't just that she was entertained by the violence. It was mainly because Brian had been kind of acting like a... Eliza couldn't think of a proper word for it. Whatever Hazel said sounded pretty accurate. Not wanting to get pulled into it though, she followed in step with Britt.

William cursed at the slap and looked up at Hazel. His eyes were burning with fury with his hand over where he got slapped. Normally, if someone slapped him, he would just straight up beat them to the ground until they were unconscious. He had to keep himself somewhat under control and not start a brawl. He looked up at Alex and looked back at Hazel. His fiery gaze relaxed while he said, " Damn, Haz... I was only kidding. You are like an absolute angel, I bet you. Especially compared to everyone else here... Fuck... You got me good with that hit..." He stayed back, his eyes glancing at an old, abandoned brick building, while having his hand on his face.

Alex raised his eyes in confusion an made a face. "Brien, what is up with you?" he muttered under his breath, making sure he didn't over hear. "An angel huh?" he said a bit louder, but quickly moved up next to Eliza.
Britt struggled to hide her smile and a small squeak escaped her mouth. She covered her mouth and calmed down, glancing back at William and smiling even bigger.

"Not exactly the word I would use," Eliza murmured to Alex, her smirk still showing. She looked back at William and winced. His anger seemed palpable, and she wanted none of it directed at her. Even though he looked composed, Eliza had experience with people like Brian. Or at least who he might be like. Maybe he wouldn't immediately attack the nearest person, but Eliza didn't want that person just in case. She quickened her pace so she was half a step ahead of Britt and Alex.

"Ay... Lo siento," Hazel murmured, gently touching William's hand over his cheek. "I just got... very tense. I tend to slap when that happens... Um.. Are you okay? How bad is it?" he asked, staying close to William's side as they walked. "And I... I can't tell if that angel comment is good or bad..." Hazel sighed as he walked, fidgeting with his hands a tad.

William stayed still and was glancing at that building. His eyes kept on flashing to pure hatred to a neutral state. " I'm fine, I've had a lot worse. You should have seen me when I was at the orphanage when I was younger. Every single day I would face the wrath of both God and Satan," He ended with a little chuckle. " But please, just can you control your hand?" His gaze at the building grew even more intense. He started mumbling something under his breath before saying, " Oh- um, the angel comment is good and yes, Alex, an angel... Have I seen that building before...? I am having the weirdest déjà vu. Sorry everyone, it is calling me and I have to detour. One moment." He walked over the old building and peeked inside the broken window.

Britt paused, watching William walk away. She looked back questioningly to the rest of them and took a hesitant step towards William and she muttered,"following." and followed, jogging slightly to keep up.
Alex laughed and nodded in agreement to Eliza. "Never heard truer words." he muttered quietly to her. He stopped and shook his head to Britt, telling her not to follow, but she ignored him and he stood still, not stopping her but not following.

William was still looking inside of the building through the window. He smiled at Brittney approaching and said, " Well, hello there~ You decided to show up. Nice for you to come over here while I am deeply confused, darling."

Eliza watched, her feet planted next to Alex. Brian seemed to have cooled down, and any fear Eliza had transformed into curiosity. Why would Brian recognize a broken-down building? Did he live nearby? Eliza didn't think he had mentioned where he lived, but she could be mistaken.
She studied him from a distance.

" Yeah, maybe I was drunk or something when I saw it... Wait, what the hell is that?" William asked, pointing at something that was in the building. It was a pile of bricks.

Britt squinted, looking in. "A uh, pile of bricks? Inside a building..." she trailed off, thinking, is there something off about that?" she asked, knowing there has to be something she's missing. "What do you see..?"

William squinted his eyes even more at it and started laughing at himself, " I thought that was someone just sitting there! Oh god, I do need glasses. I guess I'll have-" He then suddenly grabbed Brittney's head, slammed it against the brick wall, and then slammed it against the window. The glass shattered and he took the opportunity to jump through the window to run through the building, having the bag in his hand. There was then another loud shattering noise soon afterwards.

Hazel jumped back when William smashed Brittney's head. He ran back the other way back to the group, then leaned against the wall, taking a deep breath. "Hey. So, uh..." He looked back to where he had last seen William, and his shoulders fell. "Nevermind."

Eliza stood frozen. She watched Brian bash Brittney's head as if it were in slow motion. Her jaw was open in surprise. A realization struck her into motion. So that was his game. Steal the explosives and run. Why would he even want those explosives? She began to work her jaw, trying to figure out what she was supposed to do. Should she just run, too? It didn't seem like there was anything else for her here. She glanced from Hazel to Alex.

Alex yelped and jumped, racing over to Britt's side, Falling down beside her. She was knocked out clean. "Goddamn it Brien!" he yelled, he had no idea what to do, and when the hell would he do with the explosives? He quickly reached for Britt's pistol but paused. "That would just bring police over here." he muttered. Alex clenched his teeth and stood up. His grip tightened and his hands started sweating. "We should follow." Alex said as he approached the group.

William was now a block down and looked behind himself to see if they were following him. They weren't, well, not yet at least. He knew the adrenaline rush wouldn't last long. He slipped into the crowds of people and slowed down, looking around at his surroundings and realm of space.

Alex groaned in frustration. "What ideas do you have genius?" his voice rose by every word and he stepped closer to Eliza. "God knows what Brien's going to do with that, he could do what ever the hell he wants now!" Alex was practically yelling by now and he backed away from Eliza and a look of guilt crossed his face. "Sorry." he muttered, looking down. He turned and walked away out of their view and sat down against a building, covering his face with his hands.
(Don't worry, I haven't forgot about Brittney. XD)
