 Pets Sometimes Run and Hide Near Top

At the top where there's grass, a bicycle, a bunny, some flowers, and some other stuff sometimes a little pet that isn't a bunny like a tiger or cow will hide behind some of the stuff, and run behind other stuff, but he/she is still visible. When I tap on them they don't respond. Why are they there?

Just for decoration! You can buy and adopt your own pet through auctions, lucky bags, lucky wheel, etc., and that one will walk around at the top of the screen instead.
